People Pistol-Whipped, Robbed In Albany Park

Police have issued an alert for the 17th district.

CHICAGO, IL — Two people were assaulted and robbed earlier this month on Chicago's Northwest Side, police said. The attacks happened in Albany Park, according to police. In both robberies, the victims were hit with a handgun and their personal property was stolen, police said.

The first attack happened in the 3000 block of W. Collum Avenue on June 5 at 10:15 p.m., police said.

The second robbery happened the day after in the 4400 block of N. Lawndale Avenue at 10:30 p.m., according to police.
