Police Seek Identity of 'John Doe'
Man was found in 1200 block of West Granville with severe head injury on Aug. 9 and is in a coma at St. Francis Hospital.

Chicago police are trying to determine the identity of a man with a head injury who was found in the 1200 block of West Granville Avenue on August 9.
Witnesses told police that the man appeared to be having trouble walking. He was seen stumbling and then falling, striking his head on the sidewalk.

The man is now unconscious at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. The man was wearing gray sweat pants, shirt and gray gym shoes when he was found. He does not have any ID.
He is described as a white male in his fifties, 5-feet-10-inches, weighing 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown-gray hair.

Police want to identify the man so they can get in touch with his family.
