Police Warn Of Attempted Child Luring In Ravenswood
Police have released the description of a man who allegedly tried to lure a 13-year-old boy into his car.

CHICAGO, IL — Police sent out a community alert warning North Side residents of an attempted child luring. A man tried to get a 13-year-old boy to get into his car Tuesday morning, police said. It happened on North Clark Street near Foster Avenue, according to police.
The boy was walking in the 5100 block of Clark around 8 a.m., when a man in a dark blue car pulled up and told him to get into his vehicle, according to police. In fear, the boy ran back to his house and called his parents, police said.
The suspect is described as white, with a thin build, short gray hair, a clean-shaven face and wearing sunglasses. Police said his vehicle may have been a Toyota Corolla.
