Police Warn Of Lincoln Square, Ravenswood Burglaries

CHICAGO, IL — Police have issued a community alert warning of burglaries in the Lincoln Square and Ravenswood neighborhoods. Police said there were three burglaries on Damen and Hoyne Avenues between April 11 and April 13. The suspects are stealing property after prying open rear doors or windows to get inside the homes, police said.

The burglaries happened in the following locations:

• 4900 block of N. Damen Ave. on April 11 between 11:15 a.m. & 5:10 p.m.
• 4800 block of N. Hoyne Ave. on April 13 between 7:40 a.m. & 6:15 p.m.
• 4900 block of N. Damen Ave. from April 12-13, between 10:30 p.m. & 6:15 p.m.

Police were investigating the burglaries. No one was in custody.
