Police Warn Of 'Peeping Tom' On NW Side
A man has been peeking in windows on North California Avenue, police said.
CHICAGO, IL — Police have issued a community alert warning of a man who is lurking around homes on North California Avenue near Irving Park Road. Police said the man deliberately peered into windows in the area, and made inappropriate comments. Both incidents happened in the 4000 block of North California Avenue in Albany Park, police said.
The first incident happened on April 23, around 4:30 a.m., police said. The man then came back May 3 and was found peering into windows at 1:38 a.m., according to police.
The man is described as white or Hispanic, between 25 to 35 years old, but no further description was available.
