Police Warn Of String Of Vehicle Thefts In Albany Park
In two of the thefts, victims left the vehicle running with the keys in the ignition, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Police sent out a community alert to Albany Park residents warning of a string of vehicle thefts in the area. The thefts happened between Jan. 23 and Feb. 8. Most of the thefts happened in the evening, police said.
These are the locations of the thefts:
• In the 4700 block of North Springfield Avenue from 9 p.m. Jan. 23 to 7 a.m. Jan. 24.
• In the 3900 Block of West Lawrence Jan. 24 at 5:40 p.m.
• In the 4600 Block of North Monticello Avenue from 8 p.m. Jan. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 31.
• In the 3900 Block of West Wilson Avenue Jan. 31 at 5:30 p.m.
• In the 3500 Block of West Berteau Avenue Feb. 6 at 2:45 p.m.
• In the 3900 Block of West Cullom Avenue Feb. 8 at 5:00 p.m.
• In the 4600 Block of North Monticello Avenue Feb. 8 at 11:30 p.m.
