Rape Averted When Woman Jumps From Moving Car
The victim was waiting for the bus at Montrose and Kimball when she was abducted by two Hispanic men Tuesday morning.
CHICAGO, IL - A woman waiting for a bus on Chicago's North Side early Tuesday morning was abducted by two men in a silver sedan, but escaped an attempted sexual assault by jumping from the moving vehicle.
Police say the victim was standing at the bus stop on Montrose and Kimball around 6:15 a.m. when a car with two Hispanic occupants circled the area and parked in a nearby business parking lot. One of the men tried to persuade her to get into the car, then got out and grabbed her by the hand, pulling her into the vehicle.
Once in the car, the other man attempted to assault the woman in the back seat as it moved eastbound on Montrose.

As the car made its way to Cullom and Western, the victim jumped out while in motion. Cullom and Western is about a mile east of the bus stop where the woman was abducted.
Police describe one offender as a 25-35 year-old Hispanic, 5'10"-6'2", 180 lbs. with a shag hair style, brown eyes and a dark brown complexion.

The other a Hispanic man 25-20 years old, 5'4"-5'7", 150-160 lbs. with light brown complexion.
