West Ridge Launches New Event
Two Miles of Shopping & Fall Fun

Much more than a traditional neighborhood sidewalk sale, the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Devon Avenue SSA #43 present the inaugural West Ridge Fun Fest as an end-of-summer community festival. Held on August 28th from 11am to 3pm, this renowned neighborhood celebrates with FREE live entertainment, art projects, games, face painting, magicians and fabulous family fun for every age group!

WHAT: North Side family-friendly event in the historic West Ridge neighborhood that highlights sales and specials at local businesses along Devon Avenue, as well as refreshments, live music for adults and children, and quality family entertainment.

WHEN: Sunday, August 28, 2016, 11 am - 3 pm

WHERE: West Ridge Fun Fest is located at 2720 W. Devon Ave. in the Republic Bank parking lot. Sidewalk sales take place at participating businesses along Devon from Kedzie to Leavitt, as well as on nearby Western Avenue.

WHY: West Ridge Fun Fest is one of the Chamber’s many community events meant to provide community goodwill and establish union between local businesses and residents.

WHO: The West Ridge Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6, with a growing membership of businesses, schools, nonprofits and residents. The West Ridge Chamber provides technical assistance to businesses, including access to City of Chicago services, workshops, classes, marketing, and events like the West Ridge Fun Fest.
