Security Camera Captures Irving Park Break-In: Video

CHICAGO, IL — A security camera caught an attempted burglary in the city's Irving Park neighborhood. The attempted break-in happened Monday, according to the video post on YouTube. The video shows three suspects, with their faces covered, walking up the steps to the home in broad daylight.

The video then shows the would-be burglars trying to pry open the back door with a crowbar, then kicking it in. Two of the men have handguns.

According to an ABC 7 report, the homeowner and his friend were standing on the other side of the door, and scared the intruders, who eventually turned around and walked away.

No one was in custody.
