Senior Citizen Trips, Accidentally Shoots Self in Lincoln Square
A gun the 65-year old was carrying "accidentally discharged" early Friday morning.

CHICAGO, IL - A senior citizen accidentally shot himself in the knee after tripping early Friday morning in Lincoln Square.
The man - a 65-year-old - transported himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital shortly after the incident occurred at 4:40 a.m., according to CBS Chicago. He was reported to have been walking in the 4500 block of N. Winchester Ave. when a gun he was carrying accidentally discharged.
