St. Hilary's New Principal Neighborhood Native

When Kathleen Donovan was recently named the new principal at St. Hilary school, the physical move into the principal's office was easy–only a few steps from the school's preschool where Donovan has taught for the past two years.

"I'm thrilled to begin my role as Principal at St. Hilary," said Dononvan. "As Asst. Principal for the past five of my nine years here, I am truly committed to our wonderful students, families and faculty."

A native Northsider, Donovan grew up in the Lincoln Square neighborhood and graduated from Queen of Angles and Good Counsel High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University with a Masters degree from the American College of Education.

St. Hilary welcome's its students back on Aug. 22 and are still accepting applications for some grades. For more information or to schedule a tour call 773.561.5885 or visit the school's website at http://www.sthilarychicago.org.
