'The Secret Garden' to blossom at Wheaton Drama
"The Secret Garden," written by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon, is based on the novel of the same name, penned by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

A young girl finds herself living in her uncle’s rambling manor. It’s a lonely and somber existence, until she befriends the gardener’s son and discovers a hidden sanctuary where new life is waiting to burgeon.
Set in the early 1900s, “The Secret Garden” tells the story of young Mary Lennox, who comes to live with her grieving uncle, Archibald Craven, on his imposing estate in the English countryside.
After encountering her ailing, neglected cousin, Mary cultivates life and light out of hopeless family tragedy, changing all their lives forever.
