8th Annual Illinois Tollway Family Safety Fair to be held Saturday, September 19
Family fun and safety exhibits include free child safety seat inspection and installation, kids' ID cards, Jesse White Tumbling Team
The Illinois Tollway and Illinois Police District 15 will host the 8th annual Family Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, at the Tollway’s headquarters in Downers Grove. The free event brings fun and safety together with family friendly activities and the opportunity for complimentary kids ID cards for children ages 3 and older and child safety seat inspections.
The event takes place at Tollway headquarters at 2700 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove.

- Complimentary child safety seat inspections.
- Children’s photo ID processing.
- Illinois State Police District 15 demonstrations of how its K-9 unit assists troopers.
- The Jesse White Tumbling Team performing acrobatic feats at 1:15 p.m.
- Public safety equipment including the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District fire truck and ambulance , a Highway Emergency Lane Patrol (H.E.L.P.) truck a 26-ton Illinois Tollway snowplow at the Tollway’s touch-a-truck exhibit and an Air Methods LIFESTAR 1 helicopter.
