LISLE, IL — Residents can drop off personal documents to be shredded at a Document Destruction event in Lisle on Oct. 17. The event will be held at Lisle Village Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
To get your documents shredded, place them in the trunk or cargo area of your vehicle and drive to parking lot C, where staff will be on hand to shred them via mobile shredding trucks that have a capacity of 12,000 pounds each. The cross-cut shredded pieces will then be recycled.
Each resident can bring up to two copier paper-sized boxes or three paper shopping bags full of documents to be shredded and recycled. Binder clips, staples and paper clips should be removed before items are dropped off.
