Benet Students Raise More Than $62,000 in Holiday Fundraisers
Students participated in Penny Wars, and even held a beard growing contest to raise funds to benefit those in need.
Every December, Benet Academy students participate in various fundraisers for their Christmas Drive. In 2011, students were able to raise $62,525, according to the academy's website.
Activities included Penny Wars between grades, Indentured Elves, a beard growing ontest and dress-up days. See the website for a full list of fundraising activities and photos.
