Boy Faces Felony Charges For Threat Against Lisle School: Cops
"[A] possible tragedy may have been averted," the state's attorney said.

LISLE, IL — A juvenile from Lisle faces felony disorderly conduct charges after he allegedly made a threat against Lisle High School. Police say the student "made threatening statements to his classmates" on April 30 and was taken into custody later that day.
"Recently, we have seen an uptick of this type of behavior," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement. He thanked school administrators and students for promptly reporting the alleged threats, saying, "I would like to commend the students who came forward to authorities with this information. It is because of their actions a possible tragedy may have been averted."
The student's identity was not released because he is a juvenile. He is currently in custody and set to appear in court on May 4.
