Bulk Item Collection By Lakeshore Recycling To Resume June 3

Residents can begin to put out properly stickered bulk or extra items beginning Wednesday, June 3.

May 28, 2020

The Village of Lisle’s residential refuse and recycling hauler, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS), has announced that residents can begin to put out properly stickered bulk or extra items beginning Wednesday, June 3rd. Bulk item collection had previously been on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to an anticipated increase in extra or bulk items needing pick up, and in an effort not to overtax collection efforts, LRS requests that residents gradually put items out over the course of several collections rather than all at once. Placing items out for collection in this manner will allow LRS crews to catch up with anticipated higher volumes of bulk items.
