Chicago Clean Cities Hosts Golf Outing, Fleet Education Seminar

Coalition of Chicago-area commercial fleets and municipalities work to reduce fuel consumption and improve air quality

The Chicago Area Clean Cities Coalition hosts its 15th annual golf outing on Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Maple Meadows Golf Club, 272 S Addison Road, in Wood Dale.

The day will kick off with a free fleet education seminar in the morning, followed by an afternoon of golf and dinner. The seminar offers fleet administrators from Chicago-area businesses and municipalities a chance to benchmark best practices concerning environmentally friendly solutions for managing vehicle fleets.

At the fleet seminar, Chicago Clean Cities will shine the spotlight on area businesses that have ‘gone green’ by using alternative fuels in their vehicle fleets. Chicago-area companies that use compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane to power their fleets will be highlighted.
