Connelly and Wehrli Children's Safety Expo 'takes flight'
WHEATON, IL – More than 600 people attended an August 22 Children's Safety Expo which was hosted by State Sen. Michael Connelly (R-Wheaton)

WHEATON, IL – More than 600 people attended an August 22 Children’s Safety Expo which was hosted by State Sen. Michael Connelly (R-Wheaton) and State Rep. Grant Wehrli (R-Naperville).
The two legislators expressed their gratitude to the dozens of vendors and state and local governmental agencies whose contributions led to an extremely successful safety expo. Children were wowed by the “Traveling World of Reptiles” and more than 40 “Touch-a-Truck” features.
Expo participants included ComEd, CPR, Naperville Police Department, DuPage Children’s Museum, DuPage County Circuit Court Clerk, DuPage County Crime Stoppers, DuPage County Health Department, DuPage County Highway Department, DuPage County Office of Homeland Security, DuPage County Regional Office of Education, DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, Edward Jones, Elite Sports Complex, Hruska Insurance, Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Life Span, Illinois Secretary of State Police, Juice Plus, Lifestar Chicago, Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Office of the Illinois Comptroller, Office of the Illinois Treasurer, Office of the Illinois Secretary of State, PACE, Sparkles Entertainment, Traveling World of Reptiles, and several other area agencies.
