Contest Encourages Residents To 'Capture Lisle Parks And Recreation'

LISLE, IL — Residents are encouraged to snap pics of the park district's dazzling sunsets, curious wildlife, and picturesque green spaces for the 2023 'Capture Lisle Parks And Recreation' photo contest.

The contest, open to all ages, and skill levels, asks photographers to capture images at Lisle Park District events, facilities and outdoor spaces.

Subjects may include people, sporting events, architecture, wildlife, nature and more. Entries will be judged on subject matter, focus and exposure. Winners will receive prizes and their work will be featured in the park district's Winter-Spring Program Guide for 2024.

Below are the contest rules:

• Pictures must be taken at a Lisle Park District event, park or facility
• Entries must be color or black and white digital photographs with resolutions of 300dpi or higher and be in png or jpg format
• Photographers must include a title and location for their photo, along with their name, age and email address

There is no limit to the number of photographs an entrant may submit. Photographers have until Oct. 8 to submit their work via email to ssleezer@lisleparkdistrict.org.
