Cops Increase Patrols For Super Bowl Weekend In Lisle
Lisle police will be out in full force to target drunk and impaired drivers.
LISLE, IL — Lisle police will increase patrols to target drunk and impaired drivers during Super Bowl weekend. The game is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, but officers will be out in full force starting Friday and ending early Monday.
“To ensure everyone has a good time on Super Bowl night, we are reminding our community
residents and guests to plan for a safe ride home,” Lisle Police Sergeant William Wise said in a statement.
Wise added, “Even one drink or hit can impair judgment. You should never put yourself or others at risk with the choice to drive impaired.”

Lisle police recommend the following to help keep the roads safe:
- Find a sober driver
- Take keys away from friends who are drunk or high
- Wear your seatbelt
- Report impaired drivers to local police
The NFL championship will be played on Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with the Seattle Seahawks facing off against the New England Patriots.
