Coroner IDs 3 People Killed In Lisle Crash
Three people were killed in a crash Saturday morning in Lisle.
LISLE, IL — The names of three people killed in a crash in Lisle Saturday have been made public. The victims have been identified as Andrew Purtill, 46, of Aurora, Graciela Leanos, 21, of Naperville and Geovanny Alvarez, 22, of Naperville, according to the DuPage County Coroner's Office.
The fatal crash took place just after 1:15 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Navistar Drive and Warrenville Road. Purtill, the driver of one of the cars involved in the crash, was found dead at the scene. Alvarez, who was a passenger in the second car, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Leanos was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died of her injuries.
In the aftermath of the crash, family and friends expressed their grief via touching messages on social media.

Mike Harrison, a friend of Andrew Purtill's, shared on his Facebook page Sunday, "Very sad to share that my best friend of 36 years, Andrew Purtill, died in a car crash yesterday morning."
Melanie Fisher wrote of her sister, Graciela Leanos: "you had such a beautiful and kind soul always helping everyone out and always helping Mom out no matter what."

Roxanna Dominguez started a GoFundMe to raise money in the wake of her niece's death. She wrote on the fundraiser page, "my heart and gut hurt as I’m writing this ….. my beloved and beautiful niece passed away this morning from a terrible car accident….. Graciela Rosa Gloria Leanos was an amazing daughter, sister, niece, aunt and granddaughter."
