Crest Lighting Closes Doors in Lisle

The lights are still up, but the doors to (also known as Evergreen Oak Electric), 1600 Ogden Ave., recently closed.

They will continue operations through their New Lenox store, at 1918 Ferro Dr., New Lenox.

Employees at the New Lenox location said the Ogden Avenue store held a storewide sale in the weeks prior to its closing. Some inventory was moved to New Lenox, though the majority that is left will likely be sold to a liquidator for public auction at a later date, one employee said.

The chain store opened the Lisle location in 1982.
