Document Shredding Event For Lisle Residents
What to know if you plan on participating in Saturday's event.

LISLE, IL — Keep your information safe by shredding any unwanted documents during Saturday's document destruction event, held by the Village of Lisle, in partnership with DuPage County. The event runs from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., Oct. 27 in Commuter Parking Lot C, just south of Village Hall.
According to the Village of Lisle, those participating should know the following:
- Participants are required to bring documents in paper shopping bags or cardboard boxes, as plastic bags won't be allowed.
- The limit of paper to shred per participating vehicle is three paper shopping bags or two copier-sized boxes.
- Paperclips and staples can be left in the documents, but binders and metal clips should be removed.
Staff at the event will remove documents from vehicles, which will be taken into a mobile shredding truck, be cross-cut shredded on-site, and then recycled.
