Dogs Allowed At Morton Arboretum Saturday

A "Dog Admission Day" means four-legged friends will be permitted throughout the day on the Arboretum's trails.

LISLE, IL - The Morton Arboretum will allow dogs on its trails for its Dog Admission Day on Saturday, Nov. 4. Those who bring their dog from 7 a.m. until sunset must adhere by a strict set of rules, including keeping the dog on a leash at all times and keeping the dog away from a number of popular attractions at the Arboretum.

All dogs must also have updated vaccinations and registrations. They will not be allowed off the marked trails and are forbidden from entering the Children's Garden, Maze Garden, Visitor Center, Thornhill Educational Center and Administration Building and Research Center, according to information from the Arboretum's website.

The fee is $5 per dog. Non-members will still have to pay admission for themselves as well.
