Don't Forget: Snap Up Kids' Clothes, Partake in Pancakes, Take a Gamble on Casino Night

Several community groups, including District 202 and St. Joan of Arc schools, are sponsoring fundraisers on Saturday.

 

Saturday, 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 3 p.m. at , 5205 Kingston Ave.

With approximately 150 sellers, this resale event provides a large and unique variety of children's items. There is free parking and free admission to the sale.

Items include, but not limited to, gently used children’s items such as infant clothing and equipment, children’s clothing, toys, sports equipment, books, movies, costumes, furniture and maternity wear. Holiday attire, communion dresses, boys' suits and homecoming/prom dresses are often featured as part of this resale. Clothing items are neatly hung and organized by size and gender.

White tagged items will sell at half-price from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers must be at least 15 years old. Please no children, infants or strollers allowed in the gym. Cash is accepted and so are checks with a valid ID.

Saturday, 7 - 11 a.m. at , 5207 Center Ave.

Along with the pancakes, enjoy a performance by members of the Lisle Junior High Jazz band, an open gym with basketball and bags, raffles, face painting, and a coloring table. Any uniformed military or Lisle fire department or police department members eat for free.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10. The Kiwanis Club is also going to run a 50/50 raffle.  Those tickets will be $1 each or $10 for an arm’s length. 

 

Saturday, begins at 7 p.m. at , 4913 Columbia Ave.

Casino games including black jack, craps, roulette and a basketball sports book will be featured. Win cash! Food and beverages will be provided by   All those 21 and over are welcome to attend.  Proceeds to benefit St. Joan or Arc School. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and are available at in downtown Lisle.
