Downtown Master Plan Public Hearing Continues on June 20

The Planning and Zoning Commission will host the hearing; the downtown plan will guide development over the next 10 years.

The Village of Lisle is conducting a public review process for the Downtown Lisle Master Plan, a document that will help to guide development in the downtown area over the next ten years. A continuance of the Planning & Zoning Commission public hearing held on May 23, 2018 will take place on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Avenue.

“We encourage all that are interested to review the plan and provide their thoughts,” said Village Manager Eric Ertmoed. “The draft plan is the result of more than a year-and-a-half of input gathered from elected and appointed officials in addition to the public through community meetings, surveys, open houses, workshops, interviews and other means. We invite input to ensure this is a strong plan that is representative of the community’s interest.”

Stakeholders who participated in public engagement activities directed by the Downtown Planning Advisory Committee (DPAC) included residents, business community representatives, property owners, local organizations, students and visitors.
