Drum And Bugle Corps Performing at Benedictine University

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to present the 28th Annual Cavalcade of Brass in Lisle on Sunday, June 26 at 6 p.m. The Cavalcade of Brass is a must-see contest for Chicagoland fans, with Blue Stars, Carolina Crown, Colt Cadets, Glassmen, Pioneer, Racine Scouts, Troopers and The Cavaliers all prepared to blow fans away!

"Benedictine University will provide an great venue for this awesome annual display of drum corps," said co-event chair Craig Rasin. "With being so close to Chicago, this gives us an opportunity to invite all our local fans out for a night of pure entertainment."

The Cavaliers are working hard to perfect their 2011 program, 'XtraordinarY,' which will feature "Footprints" by Wayne Shorter, "Jungle Tango" by The Jazz Mandolin Project, and "Nature Boy" by Eden Ahbez.

"The corps has made incredible progress throughout the winter camps and into Pre-Tour," said Corps Director Adolph DeGrauwe. "Each day, the members are getting stronger and stronger at communicating the excitement, finesse and sheer power of their 2011 program; they just can't wait to share XtraordinarY with our hometown crowd!"

Before the contest, The Cavaliers percussion section will work with local high school students participating in GearWORKS: Summer Drum Days. The Cavaliers will then hold an open rehearsal at the Sports Complex at . This is an excellent opportunity for friends, fans, family and alumni to check out the "show before the show!"

The popular family section tickets will be available the day of the contest. Adult tickets are $20, and accompanied children (12 and under) get in free. Only purchase tickets for the adults!
