Dupage County To Consider $7 Million Stimulus Program
This week the County Board will consider a stimulus program for up to $15,000 grants to assist small businesses and independent contractors.

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, the DuPage County Board will consider a stimulus program for up to $15,000 grants targeted at assisting small businesses and independent contractors. The funding is intended for businesses that did not received assistance through the Paycheck Protection Program or Disaster Relief Loans offered through the Small Business Administration. The proposed program calls for $7 million in grants to be administered through Choose DuPage, a 501(c)3 organization, that would accept online submissions and make determinations regarding applications.

The program will be considered at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 by the DuPage County Finance Committee and 10:00 a.m. by the DuPage County Board. The agendas for these meetings as well as a form to submit public comment can be found on the DuPage County Meetings Portal.
