I have spent the past 25 years helping families achieve their financial goals. After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, I joined Edward Jones in 1998. During my tenure, I served in many leadership positions within the firm. In 2018, I became a regional leader for the Chicago western suburbs, overseeing 58 branch teams serving thousands of families. I became a general partner with Edward Jones in 2020. I take a very personalized approach to financial advising. My branch team includes Joyce Marzo. We take the time to learn what is important to our clients and I tailor a strategy to help them achieve their goals. Together we are committed to providing our clients and business partners exceptional service. In my practice, I typically work with three generations of families, helping them navigate life's financial challenges. As a marathoner, I have completed multiple races, including the Chicago Marathon, and I have found that the discipline and focus required for long-distance running has helped me in other areas of my life. As a cancer survivor and caregiver, I have gained valuable insights into the challenges that life can throw our way. These experiences have taught me the importance of perseverance, empathy and proactive planning, and I bring these values to my work as a financial advisor. Sanctuary in Trauma is excited to announce the opening of its first physical office in the Lisle Town Centre and invites the community to celebrate at an Open House on Saturday, July 18, from 1-3 pm at 1111 Burlington Avenue, Lisle, IL, Suite 110. Sanctuary in Trauma is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry dedicated to walking alongside women who have experienced trauma, loss, and hardship. Through Biblical teaching, practical tools, support groups, and leader training, the ministry equips churches and communities to offer hope and healing rooted in the truth of Scripture.After years of serving women from homes, coffee shops, churches, and borrowed meeting spaces, this new office marks an important milestone in the ministry's continued growth. The space will provide a welcoming environment for meetings, volunteer collaboration, leadership training, and ministry operations as Sanctuary in Trauma expands its reach. "We are incredibly grateful for God's faithfulness in providing this space," said Executive Director Dana Kemp. "This office represents more than four walls—it is a reminder of the many people who have prayed, volunteered, given generously, and come alongside this ministry so that more women can experience hope in Christ. We are excited to expand our reach into Lisle and surrounding communities.” Community members, ministry partners, local leaders, and supporters are invited to stop by during the Open House to tour the office, meet the Sanctuary in Trauma team, learn more about the ministry's mission, and celebrate what God is doing through this next chapter.
