In anticipation of Halloween, we will have a special book/film discussion for a classic horror movies: Dracula (Bram Stoker, 1897; film 1931) . Discussions will focus on historical themes and connections to modern culture, and also on overall plot and tone of the books, with film discussions focusing not only on the adaptation, but on the main stars, themselves. Patrons are welcome to join us for this discussion, or all three discussions in this series!
