Please join us for our discussion of The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore. In 2000, Wes Moore, a Rhodes Scholar, read a newspaper article about another man named Wes Moore, who was on his way to prison. As it turned out, the two men had much in common, and startled by this, the author eventually contacted the other Wes Moore, beginning a long relationship. Examining eight years in the lives of both men, the author explores the factors and choices that led one to scholarship and military service, and the other to prison.
