PAQA provides a forum for artists to promote growth and professionalism. The mission of PAQA is to show member artwork, encourage new artists, discuss professional issues, share knowledge and experience, and to network with other members.

Membership is open to all artists committed to pursuing their art as a career. PAQA membership ranges from professionals, to those aspiring to professional status. Members teach, lecture, exhibit work, and sell artwork through galleries or museums. They sell quilt related products like fabric, thread, patterns, and CD’s. They are curators, authors, and own quilt related businesses, but their first and primary job is artist.

At a typical monthly meeting, members display their artwork. They tell of their professional accomplishments, request information from other members, share techniques, and encourage each other.
