Please join us for our discussion of the graphic novel Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman. If all you know of Neil Gaiman is Stardust or Coraline, you’re in for a real treat. In this graphic novel, he weaves the story of a man determined to capture the physical manifestation of Death, but who instead captures Morpheus, the King of Dreams. After a 70-year imprisonment, Dream goes on a quest to obtain his lost objects of power, encountering some familiar characters along the way.
