Shoot Like the Pros

Photojournalist John Dziekan will give a class and critique session for digital photographers who would like tips from a professional on how to improve their photos. John spent over 30 years as an award-winning photojournalist at the Chicago Tribune and is now a professional freelance photographer. Participants in this workshop will try their hands at three assignments: photos demonstrating an interesting use of light, color, and human activity. The evening begins with tips, followed by a photo walk and a critique of photos brought in by participants. There will be prizes for the photos that best meet the assigned criteria
