The Comedy Shrine brings you professional comedians every weekend. The Superstars of Stand-up show is approximately 90 minutes in length and is comprised of a host, a featured comic and a headliner.
This week's headliner is Brendan McGowan.
Brendan is a stand-up comedian with a focus on storytelling and social satire. Born and raised on the north side of Chicago, he attended Marquette University in Milwaukee WI until the end of his sophomore year with a double major in theatre and journalism. After leaving college, he decided to try stand-up comedy. Brendan has performed at all the premier independent showcases in Chicago, and comedy clubs throughout the Midwest. Brendan was also ranked as one of the top 10 best comedian in Chicago by Comedy.com and has participated in the Just For Laughs Chicago Festival.
