Explore Historic Buildings, Investigate Hauntings at the Museum

Join The Museums at Lisle Station Park for a night of Halloween happenings and a peek into the world of paranormal investigation

Lisle, IL – For a spooky night of Halloween happenings and a peek into the world of paranormal investigation, put on your best costume and head to The Museums at Lisle Station Park.

On Saturday, October 26, The Museums at Lisle Station Park (921 School St., Lisle) will host guests and local paranormal investigators for Museum After Dark. The festive fun begins at 5pm, with a social hour featuring board games from the museum collections, and light refreshments. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase (21+ only). Halloween costumes are highly encouraged.

After months of investigating the historic museum buildings and grounds, the local team, West Suburban Paranormal Investigators, will be back on-site for the night to provide a behind-the-scenes look at some of the methods and gear used by paranormal investigators. Their presentation will begin at 6pm, with time for a meet and greet at 7pm. Guests are also welcome to explore the museum grounds following the talk.

West Suburban Paranormal Investigators has been working with the museum since March of 2019. Over the last few years, they have investigated a number of different businesses and homes around DuPage county, as well as larger locations, like Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky. Their investigations around the museum have involved tours of each building, focusing on their unique architecture and history.

The event is recommended for ages 13+. Tickets for Friends of the Museum are $12, $15 for regular admission. Anyone wishing to attend should pre-register by October 23. The Lisle Park District provides a variety of leisure activities for people of all ages throughout the year.
