Film explores drama of urban life in China

"Caught in the Web," a film by internationally acclaimed director Chen Kaige that explores the drama of urban life in 21st century China.

Caught in the Web,” a film by internationally acclaimed director Chen Kaige that explores the drama of urban life in 21st century China, will be shown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, in the Presentation Room of the Krasa Student Center at Benedictine University. The movie explores a world in which social media and the Internet, consumer culture and competition among ambitious young professionals lead to personal crises and new moral dilemmas.

The showing is part of International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education designed to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders to study, learn and exchange experiences.
