Flat Property Tax Levy Approved For 2023 In Lisle
Lisle village trustees approved a flat property tax levy of $4.9 million that homeowners will pay in 2023.
LISLE, IL — A flat property tax levy was approved by Lisle trustees Monday in the amount of $4.9 million, with the levy remaining unchanged since 2021. The levy amount will be paid in 2023 to apply to the 2022 tax year, according to an update on the Village of Lisle website.
Included in the levy is a $250,000 abatement for corporations.
Currently, the village of the Lisle takes in roughly five percent of what homeowners pay in property taxes. This reflects a decrease in Lisle's allotment from property taxes, a change that comes after new properties were added to the village, according to board meeting documents.
