Safe Haven Dog Rescue has the opportunity to bring these dogs to Illinois from a high kill shelter in Kentucky this coming weekend (1/31 or 2/1)...if we can find foster homes!
It’s cold outside and the number of dogs and puppies that find themselves in shelters has climbed and shelters are filled to capacity!
Once we can commit to rescue and transport them, they are “safe” and will not be euthanized. They are not safe until we can commit, and we cannot commit to these pups unless we have dedicated foster homes in Illinois.

We pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collar and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need), a place for them to settle down after the shelter shock and basic training...
