Glass Pumpkin Patch Opens In Mid-October At Morton Arboretum
Morton Arboretum will showcase 5,000 glass pumpkins for purchase starting Oct. 12 with an exclusive member preview event.
LISLE, IL — Thousands of glass pumpkins in an array of colors and sizes will be available for purchase at Morton Arboretum when the Glass Pumpkin Patch returns Oct. 13 through Oct. 15.
Arboretum members can get a sneak peek and be the first to snag a glass pumpkin during a Member Preview Event on Oct. 12.
Pumpkin presale will be available from 10 a.m. to 12:59 p.m. Official glass pumpkin sales start at 1 p.m. Oct. 13.

The dazzling pumpkins, accented with textural swirls and glass vines, are crafted by glassmakers. Visitors will be able to watch live glassblowing demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Oct. 13 through Oct. 15.
The artists will explain how they create their original glass creations and will also answer questions from visitors.
