Grand Garden To Open To The Public At Morton Arboretum Sept. 18
Morton Arboretum will unveil its new two-acre Grand Garden with a celebration on Sept. 18.
LISLE, IL — The Morton Arboretum is set to unveil its new Grand Garden Sept. 18 with a celebration that will include live music, face painting and more.
The Grand Garden has three sections: Celebration Garden, Joy of Plants Garden and Centennial Plaza. The spaces offer unique water features, garden rooms and a terrace that will be used to host celebrations, according to an update from Morton Arboretum.
Morton Arboretum Director of Public Relations and Social Media Tari Marshall told Patch, "The garden was designed to showcase the beauty and diversity of plants in a central location easily accessible to all guests. It is just steps away from the visitor center, spanning the length of two football fields and reimagining the footprint of the Arboretum’s historic Hedge Garden, created in 1934."
