Hiring Manager Offers His Unique Perspective on Job Interviews

This Friday, May 30, the Job Club at workNet DuPage will host a guest presentation by Al Pioch, EHS Manager at Blistex. Mr. Pioch brings a unique perspective on job search, having been both a hiring manager and a job seeker.

Mr. Pioch will talk about his sense of being lost the first time he was laid off, and how job seekers should take advantage of all services and assistance available to them. He will have many stories and examples of job interviews “from both sides of the desk,” as the interviewer and the one being interviewed. The stories will be a learning experience, but should also be entertaining. DuPage County job seekers are invited to attend this free learning and networking event.

The job club begins at 8:30 a.m. with networking, and the guest presentation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Job Club is held twice monthly at the workNet DuPage Career Center, at 2525 Cabot Drive, Suite 302 in Lisle, IL.
