Lend a helping hand this holiday season

Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets. You can make the difference between possibility and reality.

Aspire is recognized throughout Illinois as a leader in providing bold, pioneering and uncompromising services to children and adults with developmental disabilities, their families and the community. We are one of the most innovative human service non-profits in the Midwest with an incredibly talented and dedicated staff of more than 250 that serves over 1,000 kids and adults every year.

Volunteer Project Overview:

  • Dates; November 24th, 25th and December 5th
  • Time; 11am-3pm (Volunteer for any or all of the days!)
  • Activity; Sorting, lifting and moving boxes
  • Locations; Aspire Kids 1815 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162, Aspire on Broadway 117 N 19th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160


On Monday the 24th Aspire is looking for a group of volunteers to help sort and discard accumulated items in the basement of our Aspire Kids location.

Tuesday the 25 th we are hoping for 10-15 volunteers to move about 150 boxes of archived paperwork from the basement of Aspire on Broadway to the 1st floor where they will be stored for shredding the following week. Volunteers will also be picking up 80 boxes from our Aspire Kids location, and 10-15 bins of paperwork from 3 of the Community Homes.

Volunteers are also needed on December 5th to move the storage boxes a short distance to the industrial shredder that Aspire has rented for the day.

All volunteers will be treated to pizza party at the end of each project day!
