Life is Like a Box of Chocolates!

Meet Brownie and her 6 week old puppies Hershey and Cocoa. They were found as stray in the cold, and a Good Samaritan gave them shelter, food, and water. The puppies are now weaned, and it’s time for them to find their homes...but they need your help.

Safe Haven Dog Rescue is looking for 3 foster homes; one for Mom (Brownie), and one for each puppy...(Hershey and Cocoa). We never know the exact breed of the dogs we rescue, but our best guess would be chocolate lab/schipperke.

While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need!) and a safe place for these pups until they find their forever homes. We also require that you have the ability to take these pups to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets.

Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will save their life.
