Lisle Announces Date For 2026 Community Cleanup Day
During Community Cleanup Day, residents with curbside trash pickup will be able to unload an unlimited amount of items.
LISLE, IL — Lisle's 2026 Community Cleanup Day is scheduled for Oct. 3, giving residents who have curbside trash collection service a chance to unload an unlimited amount of refuse an household items.
Items can be placed following regular pickup on Sept. 30 and must be at the curb by 6 a.m. on Oct. 3 to ensure that Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) will collect them. Stickers must be affixed to the first five items, but additional items do not require stickers.
The following are ineligible for collection:

- Electronic waste
- Appliances
- Hazardous waste
- Railroad ties
- Construction materials
- Tires
- Yard waste
- Heavy items that will require special handling, such as pianos
If you have a cart subscription with LRS, you do not need to affix stickers to your items.
