Lisle Cops To Crack Down On Halloween Drunk Drivers
Additional police officers will be out in Lisle to deter drunk driving on Halloween.

LISLE, IL -- Lisle police plan on cracking down on drunk drivers this Halloween, warning drivers that there will be an "aggressive" Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over campaign in the village on the holiday this year. Lisle will be one of many police departments to beef up patrols on Halloween by using federal traffic safety funds from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
"Keep the party off the wrote," the Lisle Police Department warned in a news release. "Just one DUI arrest could cost an estimated $18,000 or more and result in revoked driving privileges for up to a year."
Police shared tips ahead of time to help lower the number of drunk drivers on the road.
