Lisle Cops To Increase Patrols For St. Patrick's Day
The crackdown will target impaired drivers and seatbelt violations for the St. Patrick's Day holiday.
LISLE, IL — Lisle police plan to increase patrols during the St. Patrick's Day holiday to crack down on impaired drivers and seatbelt violations.
Police recommend the following tips to avoid driving while impaired:
- Designate a sober driver
- Call a cab
- Use a ride sharing service
- Have someone pick you up
- Stay over where you are visiting
"We urge our community residents and visitors to enjoy St. Patrick's Day responsibly," Lisle Interim Police Chief Kevin Licko said in a news release.
