Lisle Event To Offer Clothing, Electronics Recycling For DuPage County

The Dec. 17 event gives DuPage County residents a chance to drop off electronics and clothing items to be recycled ahead of the new year.

LISLE, IL — As the new year approaches, DuPage County residents can drop off clothing and electronics at an upcoming recycling event in Lisle.

Slated for Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event will be held in Commuter Lot B, located west of Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Ave.

The following clothing items will be accepted for recycling:

  • Towels

The following electronics items will be accepted to be recycled:

  • Blenders
  • Cable boxes
  • Cameras

  • Cellphones
  • Christmas lights
  • Circuit boards
  • Coffee makers
  • Computers
  • Cords
  • Digital converter boxes
  • Docking stations
  • DVD players and VCRs
  • Fans
  • Fax machines
  • Hard drives
  • Humidifiers
  • Keyboards
  • Microwaves
  • Modems
  • Printers/scanners
  • Speakers
  • Stereos
  • Tablets
  • Vacuums

Televisions and computers can be dropped off for $25 to $35, depending on their size.
