Possession Of Child Porn Charges Against Lisle Man Dropped

LISLE, IL — Charges were dropped against a Lisle man who faced multiple counts of possession of child pornography after a months-long investigation by the DuPage County Sheriff's Office and the Lisle Police Department.

Brandon Darger, 39, of the 4400 block of Fender Drive, instead pleaded guilty to one count of obscenity, which is a misdemeanor.

At the time, Darger was taken into custody but later released on bond. If convicted of the original charges, he could have faced up to seven years in prison.

A first time obscenity charge carries up to one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500.
